Andrea Gomez, LADC-MH
Founder of AXG Services Inc
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
I’m Andrea Gomez, a licensed Drug, Alcohol, and Mental Health Counselor and the founder of AXG Services. I have more than 20 years of experience providing therapy, alcohol and drug evaluations, and services connected to court, probation, and other regulated systems. I also participate in the training and professional development of other behavioral health professionals through consulting, conference presentations, and continuing education.
What I do
I provide individual therapy for adults, as well as specialized evaluations and services that often involve legal, workplace, or regulatory requirements. Many clients come to me because they need clear guidance, strong boundaries, and a professional who understands both the emotional side of change and the practical demands of complex systems.
Areas I work with
Anxiety and panic
Depression and low motivation
Substance use and recovery support
Stress related to work, legal issues, or major life transitions
Patterns of self-sabotage and emotional avoidance
Co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns

Bilingual Services

I provide services in English and Spanish. Being bilingual helps clients feel understood and reduces misunderstandings during high-stress situations, especially when legal, workplace, or institutional systems are involved.
Profesional Background
I founded AXG Services in 2016. Throughout my career, I have worked across behavioral health, substance use treatment, and systems connected to courts and regulatory processes. My background includes evaluations, therapy, program leadership, clinical supervision earlier in my career, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. I have also worked with court-involved clients, treatment programs, and foster care settings. This experience helps me understand both the human side of each case and the practical and documentation demands that often come with it.
Professional education, consulting, and training
In addition to my clinical work, I also support the development of other professionals. I have served as a Discipline Specific Faculty Consultant with the National Drug Court Institute and currently provide conference presentations and continuing education for counselors and other behavioral health professionals.
Education and licensure
I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Bond University in Australia and made Oklahoma my home in 2003. I have worked in the counseling and treatment field since 2005. I am licensed through the Oklahoma Board of Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselors (License #334).
Why I do this work
My father was a counselor. I grew up watching him help people struggling with addiction and the pain that often comes with it. He taught me that change is possible and that hope is not just a cliché. That early experience shaped the way I show up with clients today.
What clients can expect
A respectful and professional relationship
Clear boundaries and clear communication
A realistic and trackable plan
Support that considers the full context of your life, including work, family, and legal stress when relevant
If you are looking for therapy that is practical, culturally aware, and grounded in real-world experience, you are in the right place.
